Some screen captures from the tv series 'Rock Follies', for which Mackay was series composer, plus some pictures of the interview which features on the dvd release, and one which doesn't.

Andy Mackay is sax and oboe player with and co-founder of the highly influential band Roxy Music. I learned to play sax because of his work and find myself recreating his sound as part of tribute band Roxy Magic.
Here are some bits and pieces which I've put together which may be of interest . . .
Cartoons which I have drawn to celebrate various significant birthdays . . .

In the mid 1980s Mackay co-formed The Explorers with Roxy guitarissimo Phil Manzanera and vocalist James Wraith. A concert in Camden was recorded, filmed and broadcast. Click HERE to go to the page I made in another time, another place which has many more screen captures from that concert. Also you'll see images from their apearances on 'Wogan' & the 'South Bank Show' plus some from the promo video for 'Venus de Milo'
