I recently worked on the Graphic Novel adaptation of Jonathan Stroud's first Bartimaeus novel 'The Amulet of Samarkand' and here are some images from the finished book, plus a look at how the page progresses from thumbnail sketch, to rough layout, to finished line art (in black and white) and then computer colouring (gorgeously effected by Nic Chapuis).
The most intensive comic work I've produced, it's also the longest single piece at 144 pages (approximately 1000 images) as well as the most satisfying. Published now in the US by Disney/Hyperion and in the UK (in February 2011) by Corgi.
